The Detroit Lions officially released one of their undrafted free agents and signed three others after camp ended. The Lions has a bunch of players in for tryouts as well as signed free agents. After camp ended, the team decided that wide receiver Desmond Lawrence would not be returning and let him go. They liked what they saw from three tryout players and signed them. Officially today, safety Nathan Lindsay and wide receivers Erik Lora and Jarred Haggins were added to the 90 man roster.
As of right now, the team has 3 open roster spots that they can fill by either signing more players from their rookie minicamp tryouts or they can sign players that didnt make it with other teams. Given the fact that they have not yet announced the three other spots, they are likely waiting to see who gets cut before making decisions.
