The New York Giants have signed corner Mike Harris off the Detroit Lions practice squad. Tim Twentyman , the team reporter, was the first to break the news. Harris was only with the team for three weeks, but the team liked what he was able to do. According to Twentyman, the team wanted to sign him to the active roster but did not have enough room so they had to let him go to New York. The move leaves a hole in the practice squad that will likely be filled sometime this week. The Lions have a few moves they will need to make in the coming week but with them having the bye week, there is no rush to make any moves right away.
