The dead part of the offseason is over and now we are back to football. Training camp starts today for the Detroit Lions and general manager Bob Quin has made a move at receiver. He added Anquan Bolden just weeks after FINALLY releasing Stephen Tulloch. Bolden’s addition is welcomed by fans, but what are the Lions really getting? Bolden has been great over his career. He is getting long in the tooth though and no other team wanted to sign him this past offseason which should say something about how much he has left in the tank. Still though, if he can contribute in limited amounts of time at a level close to what he used to, he will be an asset to the team for sure.
In other moves, the Detroit Lions signed linebacker Dominique Tovell and released linebacker Jerry Franklin and wide receiver Damian Copeland
