The Detroit Lions have announced that they are promoting corner Mohammed Seisay from the practice squad to the active roster. This move has been expected all week as the Lions are short at the corner position. This week Cassius Vaughn went down with an ankle injury. Coach Jim Caldwell did not seem concerned about the injury stating that they feel good about what Seisay can do and that he could be promoted in a pinch. It appears as if that pinch happened as the team filled the open roster spot vacated by the release of Kevin Ogletree. With Green Bay in town this week, it is no surprise that Caldwell wanted an extra corner at his disposal.
