The Detroit Lions had three players elected to the 2015 Pro Bowl. While two of the three are unlikely to play in the game, it is still a great honor to be elected to the Pro Bowl. It means that these players stood out at their position in the NFC. This year’s players are as follows
WR Calvin Johnson
DT Ndamukong Suh
FS Glover Quin
Quin was elected to his first career Pro Bowl this year. Suh and Johnson have been selected to several Pro Bowls in their careers. Suh is not expected to participate due to his contract status. Johnson will likely take the off season to rest and not stress his ankle for a meaningless game. Quin, however, has lobbied to be elected and will likely participate.
