2014 Detroit Lions Week 5 Postgame Injury Notes

Originally I held off on reporting this in hopes that the Lions would release more information on the injuries that occurred in Sunday’s loss to the Bills.  Unfortunately, Jim Caldwell refused to comment on the status of the two Lions that went down in the second half of Sunday’s game.  The Lions lost wide receiver Calvin Johnson to an ankle injury on his only catch of the game.  He was already battling an ankle injury so he will likely be held out of next week’s game to heal up.

Also injured was Reggie Bush.  He suffered an apparent ankle injury.  His status is also uncertain for Sunday’s game against the Vikings.  If Bush cannot go Sunday, it will be important for Joique Bell to be ready to play as George Winn would be the only healthy running back at that point.
